Part of a series of posters created to advertise a ballet company's season (for purposes of this project, I have chosen the New York City Ballet Company.) Swan Lake, one of the best known ballets today, needs no elaborate explanation. Rather the shape and symbol of Odette and Odile, the black and white swans, carries this composition while the simplicity of the piece gives the story a modern edge and a new attraction. Accompanying ticket design can be found here.
