How do you simplify your code and still get great results? This was the challenge facing the in-house design team I was part of as we worked to create the emails that would be Richard Solomon, Artists Representative's introduction to a new international client base.

In addition to including current branding elements, lead designer Ana Gomez wanted to do something special with the second wave of emails sent. She requested that they scroll from left to right. A risky move when you're relying on someone else's email browser to read the final product, but Ana and Richard Solomon felt that the unique style made the design worthwhile. My task was to implement the layout as a single, simple html document that could be sent via email, without relying on CSS or other fancy tricks.

Because of the nature of this project, the code is not live on the client's site. I have uploaded my own copy, but the finished promotional piece and content remain © Richard Solomon, Artists Representative LLC and/or clients thereof.

In addition to email coding, I also managed the sending and monitoring of these mass mailings and many others, via a third party out-bound messaging service. My years of past experience means I can walk any client through the process of email marketing.
