A Start-up company can never begin promoting itself too soon. The owners of Idalia Solar Technologies came to me with the desire to create a "footprint" website: something to show potential backers and participants in their projects. The problem? They're not ready to talk about their product yet.
It was my job to take a more minimalist approach, working with a carefully selected mission statement and a small amount of "unclassified" information to create a site that was clean and professional. Most importantly, it needed to subliminally show the company's potential for further growth, and stand prepared to become the backbone of a larger website. Without fully branding Idalia, I still wanted the suggestion of a strong color scheme, a header that could lead to logo work, recognizable slogans and hierarchically arranged information.
